MS5 PDA Installation Guide
- Install ActiveSync 4.5
- Connect the PDA to the Desktop, activate ActiveSync, and click Explore. A window Mobile Device, will popup. You will be able now to communicate with PDA.
- move the cab files from “\Program Files\Mughamrat Van Sales\MobileApp\CabFiles\” to the PDA. In particulary, the following cab files should be copied:
* NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab to enable the Virtual Machine .NET Compact Framework V3.5
* sqlce.wce4.armv4.CAB to enable SQL CE Server 2.0
* sql.wce5.armv4i.CAB to enable SQL Server
* WAL_ARMV4_PPC2003_Rel.CAB to enable WAL on the PDA
* MobileVanSales.cab to enable MS5 on the PDA
- After copying to the PDA, run NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab on the PDA
- Run sqlce.wce4.xxx.CAB on the PDA
- Run WAL_ARMV4_xxx_Rel.CAB on the PDA
- Go to the directory “\windows” on the PDA, and click on “registration.exe”. # Obtain from Mughamrat a user key corresponding to the user serial given by the tool. Enter the given value, WAL should register successfully.
- Go to the directory “\windows” on the PDA, and click on “InstallSysFnt.exe”. It will ask you to reset the device after the operations.
- Run “MobileVanSales.cab” on the PDA. It should install “Mughamrat Van Sales” on the PDA.
